what can cause constant pain inside the front of my neck? not like a sore throat, but in the neck.

Dr. Mitchell Cohn

Several poss. causes: Thyroid enlargement, muscle spasm, lymph node swelling, vessel problems, etc. If this is a concern, i would recommend you have your primary care doctor look at it asap. If your doctor is an osteopathic physician who can, besides doing all the md assessments, also look at causes such as claviclular locking, rib or hyoid dysfunction which are common causes of such pain, that would be a bonus.
