Mercurochrome!: Dang, i haven't thought of this since my abuelita used to paint us with it. It's merbromin (mercurochrome, merbromine, sodium mercurescein, asceptichrome, supercrome, brocasept, & cinfacromin). It's a topical antiseptic used for minor cuts & scrapes. It's available in most countries but no longer sold in the us because of its mercury content. The flouorescein makes the bright orange color.
