A 40-year-old member asked:

is there anything else for a newborn rash other than paw paw cream?

Depends on rash: Most newborn rash requires no treatment at all and goes away on its own. F your baby has a serious rash you should see your pediatrician who can diagnose the rash and treat it appropriately.

Pinched nerve: Pinched nerve at the wrist (carpal tunnel syndrome) is a common cause for such symptoms. However other causes of peripheral neuropathy should be considered and ruled out by history, physical exam and some blood tests. Diabetes, thyroid disease and some medications are common causes. I suggest you discuss with your pcp.

What can a person do to treat or prevent constant heat rash breakout from(i assume) working all day in the unavoidable heat?

1 doctor answer1 doctor weighed in
Dr. Robert Kwok
Pediatrics 33 years experience
May be hard to do...: People try to live and work in conditions that their bodies are able to adapt to, but sometimes that is not possible. A primary care doctor and a dermatologist can help prevent and treat recurrent heat rash (miliaria treatment). Keeping the skin surface intact, healthy, and normal is important. That means not rubbing the skin with rough clothes, or getting industrial chemicals on them.

Yes: Just as it retains its bones and blood vessels the donor skin remains. Therefore the hand will retain the same fingerprints.
