Other factors include later age at first intercourse, abstinence and monogamous relationship. Because of the implementation of routine HBV vaccinations of infants in 1992 and adolescents in 1995, the prevalence of HBV infection has declined. In taiwan- from 10% in 1984 to 1% in 1994.
