Good hand washing!: Most gastro is caused by viruses and spread person to person thru contaminated hands. By practicing good hand hygiene, soap and water or alcohol gel, you can block this major source of contagion. Even young children can be encouraged to use purell before eating and discouraged from sharing cups and utensils with others. The rotavirus vaccine also helps protect against this most common virus.
