See a DOCTOR!: In general, stab wounds need evaluation and treatment by a physician. If you can't get to a doctor immediately, or at least on the way there, apply direct pressure to the wound to control bleeding. Don't try to remove the weapon if it's stuck. If you can't walk or have no one to help you, call 911 immediately. The sooner you reach treatment the better!

Knife stabbing: Leave the knife in place and call 911. Stay calm. If the knife is out, apply pressure to the area as best as you can.
