i think i pulled a groin muscle, but my hip flexor hurts as well. how long should i wait to see improvement before seeking treatment?

4-5 days: If you can walk and there's no bulge in the groin suggesting a hernia give it 4 or 5 days. That's an uncomfortable spot to have pain. You might take some Acetaminophen (tylenol) or an anti-inflammatory like Aspirin or ibuprofen.
