Yep! They can!: Benign neoplasms are non-cancerous growths. They can show up anywhere, kind of like moles. We tend to get more of them as we age. Usually they don't cause problems, unless they are big and pressing on something important (like your brain). It's a fancy word for a lump or bump that's not cancer.
