what is a pediatric cardiology appointment like?

Peds Card: A pediatric cardiologist is an expert in childrens' hearts. They treat birth defects involving the heart, heart rhythm problems, hypertension, syncope, high cholesterol, etc... An appointment is like any other dr, except they will probably get an electrocardiogram and/or echocardiogram. These are specialized tests to evaluate the heart.

Depends: They usually will always get an ECG and an echo. Depends on your complaints.

Easy, often relaxed.: The appointments usually start with a discussion about the issue(s) at hand... Ie reason for visit. After the pediatric cardiologist listens the patient may get other tests, often right there... Echo, ecg, or other tests.
