is adenovirus infection a cause of itchy armpits?

Doubtful: But pruritis (itchiness) is a subliminal form of pain, and if you have slightly enlarged lymph nodes from adenoviral infection, anything is possible. But i sincerely doubt that this is what is creating your itchy armits.
