do i need new prescription glasses for my worsening vision?

Possibly: If the reason for your worsening vision is a change in the refraction which is the optical correction available in new lenses, then that is all you need. If the change is due to pathology in the eye, new glasses might not help. Your ophthalmologist can help you find the difference between these two and give you assistance.
