Can bronchitis be prevented from happening?

Depends...: Acute bronchitis is caused by an infection of the airways and it usually can be prevented only by avoiding people with the infection, which is extremely difficult to do. Chronic bronchitis, a form of copd, can largely be prevented by not smoking.
