No: The procedure itself is painless (although you will feel some pressure). In the few days after, you will have some scratchiness but you shouldn't have any pain.

Pain lasik lasek prk: Lasik and intralase don't hurt at all they are totally painless prk hurts a lot which is why nobody should be doing this in 2012, this is the original way to do laser vision correction, as in it is a 30-year old technique lasek and epilasek are the more advanced forms of prk, they only hurt a tiny bit, but are safer than lasik or intralase, as they eliminate the cutting , and most complications.
