Depends!: Ok to use for what purpose? Zydone (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) is a brand of generic hydrocodone plus Acetaminophen (tylenol). In other words, it's used for to control pain that isn't relieved by non-narcotic means. Hydrocodone is an addicting opioid, similar to but less powerful than oxycodone & morphine.
