got right ankle trauma which i have constantly doing r.i.c.e like i was told to do but it's still agony on tramadol and ibuprofen but doesn't help also using a support, injured back in june 2014?

What does your: orthopedist recommend?..an normal ankle injury should not take that long to heal..is surgery an option?..you need to consult with your orthopedist

Remove Ice from Rice: The application of ice over too long a time can actually short circuit healing. Especially when the injured tissues are connective in nature.(tendons, ligaments, fascia) .These tissues have a diminished blood supply naturally. The heat will mimic what your tissue normally does when injured, heat up. An increased blood flow will help heal the tissue. Some injuries just seem to take longer to heal,
