good day . pls what is the biggest size a follicle gets to before it becomes an egg?

Dr. Peter Baumann
Specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology
20+ mm: The follicle has the egg in it all along, but it needs to grow to a size of 20+ mm to be considered a "mature" follicle and the egg in it capable of being fertilized.
