Leg symptom: Can't rule out DVT without examining given those symptoms. Other possibilities are pressure phenomena from the seat.

Leg pain: Heaviness, and achiness of the calf and knee which persists both lying down or standing should be evaluated, specifically so since this occurred after a long train trip. The most efficient test would be a venous Doppler ultrasound which would reveal the possibility of a deep vein thrombosis, or perhaps the presence of a cyst behind the knee, known as a Bakers cyst.
