Yes: Sometimes with a chest cold we can have some aches and pains in your chest. If you hear wheezing when you breath or have a very deep cough or shortness of breath you should be checked for pneumonia by a doctor or nurse practitioner. Otherwise some minor aches and pains can be triggered by the coughing.
