No: Try a moist tea bag - dip in cool water. (Must use Black or Orange pekoe tea like Lipton or English Breakfast) NOT herbal or green tea. Put it DIRECTLY on extraction site and place cotton gauze on top for thickness and have her bite down with pressure for at least 20 minutes, repeat. If it does not stop then call dentist ASAP.

Nope: Your mom needs to control the bleeding. Sterile gauze placed on the site (a tight wad of it) and have her bite down to put some pressure on the site. Bite for 15 minutes, and repeat. Continue for an hour like this, every 15 minutes. Call your surgeon if the bleeding has not stopped after four attempts.
