my daughter has been having a fever going on 3 days now but she only has it at night and has really bad congestion and cough that sounds like a bark ?

Croup: A barky cough in a child can be croup. A viral illness of the upper airways which causes soft tissue swelling. The child can have sore throat, fever and a cough. I do not know how old your daughter is but a fever and a cough may be a good reason to have her see a healthcare worker to make sure it is a viral illness and does not need any other treatment.
