TMJ?: It is impossible to diagnosis over the computer but the click sounds like it may come for a joint. Since you said one side, it sounds like the Temporomandibular joint which is in front of your ears. But it could be other things, you need to have it checked out.
What happened before?
Is any pain associated with this?
If TMJ, click can be bone, disc, muscle problem. different treatment for each.

Sounds like TMJ: Sounds like TMJ. See a TMJ expert. Any dentist can be a TMJ expert with the proper training and experience. Most commonly, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and orofacial pain specialists. Ask your MD, your dentist and your dental society for referrals.
