is it normal to have a resting heart beat of 99-121 with normal bp an don't have heart murmur or anything an if it is norm why is my doc worried abot ?

Rapid pulse: A number of metabolic conditions, most notable an overactive thyroid can cause an elevated pulse. Anxiety can also cause this. Your primary care should rule out other causes before investigating the heart itself as the cause. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
