Lump in lower right back for about 5 yrs. 3 yrs increasingly severe femoral nerve pain. now losing muscle mass in right leg, pain when squatting?

Be seen: probably herniated disk you need to be seen and have a MRI and an evaluation losing muscle mass is a sign you need to be seen

Needs consultation: Recommend a neurological visit, and consider both imaging and EMG study. If your femoral nerve is involved, you can lose muscle bulk and strength over your thigh, and this can potentially be reversed. Not knowing the character of the "lump", would suggest at least a surgical consult also.
