is hip pain a sign of pregnancy?

Dr. Mary David
Specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology
No: As a pregnancy progresses and the mom's center of gravity is thrown off there can be some low back or hip pain just like carrying any heavy load around for an extended period of time can cause these symptoms but this is not a sign of pregnancy per se especially in early pregnancy. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't read too: Much into those cramps. If you have missed your period - would take a home pregnancy test.
