Day 11 to 18: A woman ovulates cycle length minus 14 days. A woman will need to monitor her cycles for 6 months to a year to get an idea, what her cycle length is. An ideal cycle is 28 days. Ovulation would occur on day 28 - 14 = 14. Cycle length between 25 and 32 days are considered normal. Ovulation would occur cycle day 25 - 14 = 11 and 32 - 14 = 18, respectively.
