how will the dermatologist know that i have trichotillomania?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Jack Underwood
62 years experience Psychiatry
Observation.: If he/she observes loss of body hair they might ask the question. The best prescription medication for this condition is Luvox (fluvoxamine). However, a non-prescription medication, NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) two 600 mg. capsules twice daily is often effective as well.
