i had a virus that caused a wheeze in my right lung 2 weeks ago. the weather is colder and the wheeze is back. will mucinez help break up the wheeze?

Wheezing: This is due to either physiologic or anatomic partial obstruction of an airway when you exhale. Mucinex (guaifenesin) will help to liquify thick secretions but not to address the primary issue. If you are wheezing my advice is to see your doctor ASAP or go to an ER. Hope this clears up soon.
