Not clear: Some doctors use high dose zantac (ranitidine) to treat acid reflux. If you are worried about peptic ulcer issues, just review this with your doctor. You won't really know what he/she is treating you for unless you ask. Remember you have to be your own patient advocate and being an informed patient is very important.
