my son has persistent phlegm and often has wheezing when he wakes up in the morning. do we need to change his milk formula?

May try: This is an option..eg. soy. It is also possible there might be some gastro-esophageal reflux going on. This can appear like wheezing and noisy breathing in babies. The notion about formula/milk causing phlegm may not very true. Do have it assessed by a pediatrician. Semi-vertical positioning after feeds should help too, so can thickening feeds.
