Bacterial vaginosis: Is a common cause of malodorous and frothy vaginal discharge. Sometimes, if you've had unprotected intercourse send do that regularly, semen itself can change the vaginal pH and cause overgrowth of unusual bacteria in the vagina, causing odor that us unusual. Many other causes, from personal hygiene to spot bleeding, and even diet can affect vaginal odor. If it concerns you, see GYN again.
