It may lose potency: I assume you are talking about Humatrope (human growth hormone) which has been mixed with water. Freezing may cause some of the GH to come out of solution when it is thawed and you may see white dust when you mix it. I don't think injecting it would be harmful but if it is just one vial or cartridge & you have extra, I would probably discard it to be on the safe side since if you use it you won't know how much is left

Not reported: Hi. I can tell you from the biochemistry standpoint, probably NOTHING will happen. Defrost it and use it, and it should be fine. Unlike heating (which irreversibly destroys proteins), proteins are generally very tolerant of freezing. But it hasn't been approved (or reported as far as I know). I'm sure it will not hurt you, and the GH should work just fine.

Destroys It.: Humatrope (human growth hormone) needs to be refrigerated both before and mixing, when it then is in liquid form. Then it must be used within 28 days. Do not freeze.

Discard: Gh should never be frozen. It would need to be discarded. Please discuss with your endocrine nurse.

Maybe inactive: B"sd per label: Vials of Humatrope (human growth hormone) and Diluent for Humatrope (human growth hormone) are stable when refrigerated at 2° to 8°C (36° to 46°F). Avoid freezing Diluent for Humatrope (human growth hormone). Sounds like if only the Humatrope (human growth hormone) frozen probably ok. No danger in any case. Available to discuss GH issues. Depends on age: In a child, it will lead to low growth velocity and short stature. In adults, it can cause elevated cholesterol, poor muscle mass and central obesity.
