what can cause a quick drop in body temperature during an eeg resulting in extreme shivering?

Not the test: The EEG itself wouldn't cause that sort of reaction. There are some really rare seizure types that can have an aura of whole body altered sensation but that should show up on the EEG with seizure activity at the time you had those symptoms.
