No scientific proof: There are many stories out there about the benefits of magnesium supplements in patients taking Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) & other stimulant meds. But, while taking up to 350 mg/day, is considered safe, there's no scientific evidence that mag. supplementation will help you. I prefer that you tell your physician about your side effects so that together you can decide how to manage them.
