how do they test for breast cancer in men?

Dr. Regina Hampton
22 years experience Breast Surgery
Same as women: If a man has a breast mass, he gets the same work up as for women: mammogram, ultrasound, core needle biopsy (taking a sample) of the mass. Treatment options are similar: surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and hormonal therapy.
