More than...: ...I can fit in 400 characters! Hi. Is there something specific you'd like to know? Diagnosing diabetes is easy. It can be done 4 ways: 1) fasting serum glucose, 2) random serum glucose (not fasting), 3) serum glucose 2 hours after a 75 gram glucose challenge done on an empty stomach, and 4) A1c. They each have their own diagnostic criteria. Early diagnosis and treatment helps prevent problems.
