is it safe to clean your vagina with hydrogen peroxide when you have bacterial vaginosis? & does it help ?

Probably not.: This could create more problems then it solves. The most recommended treatments are the antibiotics metronidazole and clindamycin either as a gel(metronidazole) or a cream (clindamycin) inserted into the vagina or as pills taken by mouth.
