i have been having brown discharge for 6 days now and my period comes in two weeks what could this mean?

Get checked: Normal vaginal discharge usually is white or clear. Colors (yellow, creamy, green, brown) often indicate infection. Other possibilities are old blood, retained tampon, and others. This is something that should be checked out. See your doctor if it continues, including STD testing (gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonas) if at risk, e.g. new partner, multiple partners, inconsistent condom use, etc.
