taking 300mg cleocin (clindamycin phosphate) x4 daily.thought had abcess,but was just minor infection.advised dentist previous colitis issue,was not concerned.cdiff concern?

Cleocin (clindamycin phosphate): Is used for serious infections and is reserved for patients allergic to Penicillin. Penicillin would have been my first choice unless you are allergic. Short term use should be no problem. Check with your dentist or MD for further evaluation
