i think my child just passed a worm, it looks like a long flat about 4inches. looking thing. what kinda worm could that be.what should i do?

Tape worm?: There many types of tape worms or "flat worms" that can make humans their hosts. I would recommend taking the worm to your pediatrician (save the diaper or put into container). They can look at it, diagnose your child and start anthelmic medications if needed. It's not an emergency, but definitely want to get it looked at.
