Need dx: The tonsil represent an accumulation of lymphatic tis gsue in the throat designed to help control infection. The gland is always succeptible to inflammatory changes but squaumous Ca and lymphoma are not uncommon. The best appraoch is to biopsy the lumps for dx. If tumor then for the most part radiation alone or with chemo utilized Complete H&N exam needed for proper decision.
