is vitamin c extra usage bad for health?

Maybe: The World Health Organization recommends 45 mg/day of vitamin C for healthy adults. Vitamin C is an antioxidant & some have recommended high doses to prevent disease & promote health. It does seem to be fairly well tolerated at high doses, though it may cause kidney stones or problems in those with certain gene changes. The biggest issue is that the evidence that it is truly beneficial is weak.
