Roxicodone (oxycodone): is used for moderate to severe pain. It may be also used before surgery to slightly sedate the patient and reduce fear.

Would point out that this is a high dose - it's the amount of oxycodone that would be in SIX standard 5 mg Percocet tablets. It is meant for people who are highly tolerant to opioids and generally for the more severe end of pain.
