Many Things: 1. Eat a low fat diet- go to www.Heart.Org- on is a banner, left side is "conditions", click it and then click, "cholesterol"- will give details 2. Regular aerobic activity, 30 minutes a day, 3-5 times a week 3. Don't smoke 4. If overweight, lose 10-20% of weight in one year 5. Take prescribed medications as last option.
