Acne treatment: Adult acne can be prevented or minimized by using a gentle cleanser twice daily, over the counter benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid products or prescription medications including topical cream with or without oral medications.

Acne: Acne is due to over production of sebum and blockage of glands which may secondarily become infected.It is driven by increased androgen hormone production. Since we have no idea of your age and other medical conditions, no relevant response can be offered. Acne can not be prevented without hormonal therapy but can be managed and minimize in extent by skin care. OTC products can dry and damage skin
