RICE: Rest, ice, compression and elevation is a good rule to apply to any sore extremity. A sling of some type is also helpfull and regular use of an nsaid. If things are not improving in a week get them checked out.

Need Gynecology Eval: Vaginal bleeding is not always your menstrual peiod. Sometimes women get miscarriages that happen about the time that they expect their periods. Also, there are a lot of conditions that can develop in the uterus that can cause bleeding such as fibroids, uterine polyps, cancer, infections, etc. Your sister should go and see her pcp or a gynecologist for an evaluation of her vaginal bleeding.

Delayed muscle sore: Generally, delayed muscle soreness will get better after 48hrs of rest. However, by doing routine exercises to condition your muscles, you may actually have no soreness or less soreness because you've strengthened the muscle or connective tissue.

Not unusual: if youre doing aerobic workouts, you may be in good shape and maybe not working out hard enough If youre doing weight/resistance workouts, you should be a little sore the next day You might need to increase resistance a little bit
