A 32-year-old female asked:

I am 32 and have chf. going to doc tomorrow for a cold/infection, but there is wheezing when i breathe in on my right side. what can i do at home now?

Take extra diuretic: For now, if you have a diuretic pill such as Lasix (Furosemide) or Bumex (Bumetanide), take an extra one. There is something called a "cardiac wheeze" related to acute CHF, and CHF can be tripped off by infection. Please, please get to your doctor tomorrow. A chest X-ray will be necessary, at the least.

Wheezing.: With your history this can not be taken care of at home. Contact to your doctor by phone . If you can not get a hold of go to an Urgent care or ER.
