Turbinates: Enlarged turbinates can occur from a virus, allergies or in some people they can be large without any cause. Treatment has to do with the cause. If its allergic then antihistamines and nasal sprays work: viral then decongestants work ( for two to three ays), if large for no reason and you are blocked, then surgery
