found out today my dogs have hook worms and yesterday i was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis,ct with contrast showed this could i have hook worms ?

Hookworms: Hook worms do not cause ulcerative colitis, but a stool sample can be sent to the lab to evaluate you for parasite infestation as this could complicate your primary disease.
