bimalleolar fracture of ankle 11 days ago. no surgery needed. ankle is in a fiberglass cast. ankle hasn't hurt since being in the cast. should it be?

Why no surgery?: Bimalleolar fractures do require surgery. There are only very few occasions when they are non-surgical (medically unstable, skin doesn't allow, Charcot ankle, etc.). You may want a second opinion to see if this truly is non-operative.
