i have to start taking mepron (atovaquone) for lyme's disease. any side effects?

Some: Mepron (atovaquone) can cause some combination of fevers, headaches, insomnia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and rash in >10% of people who take it. Mepron is not commonly used to treat lyme disease.

Not sure: Atovaquone is not generally regarded as an antibiotic that has activity against borrelia species, the bacteria which cause lyme disease.
